Students Feed Mr. Wiemers Sour Candy

First period seventh grade students gave Mr. Wiemers a Zot candy and told him to eat it. After video taping his experience they produced this video.

Nic is building trusses for the house the seventh grade boys assembled from their individual construction walls. He is using a jig to produce the necessary 13 trusses. We will add the facia and simulate some plywood sheathing before we run out of time this quarter.

Wooden Spinning Tops in Advisory

Each student in advisory made a wooden top and handle to take home as a gift. Both the top and the handle were designed and cut on the wood lathes in the shop.

These three pictures as you scroll down are Kurt and I with our completed project. It took three days to make. It was so much fun the days went by so quickly! Mr. Wiemers helped us with it and he is an awesome teacher. It was frustrating at times to figure out, but we eventualy figured it out. If your thinking about doing this module/project next, you should!
